Description

The Causey Development Trust aims to promote the amenity and environment of the West Crosscauseway area and promote education, learning and enjoyment for individuals who are either a resident or where their place of employment is in the area.

We need a volunteer for 3-4 hours a week to help with:
Developing press contacts
Creating and mailing press releases
Building awareness though social media (Facebook, Twitter)
Communicating with supporters via Mailchimp
Updating database of supporters/interested parties
Liaising with students
Identifying and implementing other publicity routes and material.

It's a great opportunity for someone interested in getting into PR, comms or marketing.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

  • Interpersonal/Confidence

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

CDT has only a little experience in the publicity / communications area, hence the need for a volunteer. There is a limited budget for external training identified if required

Location Mainly off site. Occasionally at 1 West Crosscauseway. CDT Meetings held at South Side Community Centre, Mondays 7-9pm every 4-5 weeks.
